Green Lantern Movie Already In Trouble?!?

It turns out that due to the Australian Dollar rising the producers of the Green Lantern movie now don’t have enough money to go ahead with production. They say to hopefully have it sorted out within the next month so they can start shooting but for now i say well done DC for another movie blunder…the last movies that this happened to were Superman Returns and the Justice League movie…and look what happened to them.

Richard Donner Wants Geoff Johns Involved With Superman Re-vamp

News taken from MTV’s Splashpage states that Richard Donner wants Geoff Johns working on the next Superman flick. I personally have no problem with this news as Johns pretty much reinvented the DC universe and made smaller characters like Green Lantern, The Flash and Teen Titans all look like they can compete with the big three (being Supes, Bats and Won-Woman). The only problem i have with this is that i preferred earlier news (a month ago) about Mark Miller wanting to do Superman, he’d bring so much more to the project. But if Geoff Johns gets the go ahead you won’t see me crying.

Superman 6 To Be A Reboot…With The Same Actors?

So Superman 6 has been given the green light without the very bad guidence of Bryan Singer. The franchise is going to be completely rebooted giving it hopefully the same effect that ‘The Hulk’ gave us. Only thing with this ‘reboot’ is that its been reported to most likely star Brandon Routh as Superman and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor…erm, does anyone see the problem here? I don’t mind Brandon Routh as Superman as to be honest Superman isn’t meant to be the most intereting guy in the world but seriously; Kevin Spacey back as Lex Luthor? First of all, Kevin Spacey sucked at being Lex Luthor and secondly Lex Luthor has been the bad guy in every single Superman film. His the one superhero with more enemies than anyone else. THEY SHOULD ABUSE THAT FACT! How about Braniac or Doomsday or Darkseid. Seriously, anyone other than Lex Luthor…Please.

Top 5 Male Halloween Costumes

Comic Censorship Hits A New Low…

Can you tell me whats wrong with this picture? No its not the half moon/half brainiac thing in the background, its not that Clark Kent looks like his about to bitch slap his old man and it isn’t the women perving over the men from afar. I’ll tell you what it is…SUPERMAN IS DRINKING A BEER! Let me tell you a little secret…Superman is over 21, he’s allowed to drink a beer…on another note, beer wouldn’t even affect him! Now if you look on the image below you’ll see that the beer label has been replaced (by diamond comics) with a label simply saying ‘Soda Pop’ erm…are we back in 1950? What flavour is Soda Pop anyways? As of yet, none of the originals have appeared on e-bay but im still keeping a look out for one.
