Neil Gaiman To Write 2-Part Batman Story!

Revealed today by MTV’s Splashpage Neil Gaiman had these words to say:

“1) Yes, I am writing a two part Batman story. 2) Yes, Andy Kubert will be drawing it. 3) Yes, it will be two oversized issues. 4) No, I don’t plan to say anything else about it until it’s all written and drawn.”

Richard Donner Wants Geoff Johns Involved With Superman Re-vamp

News taken from MTV’s Splashpage states that Richard Donner wants Geoff Johns working on the next Superman flick. I personally have no problem with this news as Johns pretty much reinvented the DC universe and made smaller characters like Green Lantern, The Flash and Teen Titans all look like they can compete with the big three (being Supes, Bats and Won-Woman). The only problem i have with this is that i preferred earlier news (a month ago) about Mark Miller wanting to do Superman, he’d bring so much more to the project. But if Geoff Johns gets the go ahead you won’t see me crying.

Batman 3 Rumors Laid To Rest

That’s right folks, Batman screenwriter David Goyer himself had 2 things to say; 1) Its ALL B.S. and 2) ALL OF IT! So there you have it, Batman will NOT start filming in early 2009, NO word of any villains yet, this means NO Johnny Depp as Riddler OR Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin (yet), DEFINATELY NO CHER AS CATWOMAN and also NO CONFIRMATION on Nolan signing on to do the third film.

But there’s still gonna be loads of rumors flying around so I’m taking it upon myself to start another one…<clearing throat>…ready? Ok, George Clooney wants to come back and not only be Batman again but also Alfred, Robin and Batgirl…you heard it here first.

The Mighty Mugg Fad Will Never End

Mighty Muggs are still mighty awesome and better yet hundreds and hundreds of custom muggs get made every day but people who are just bored really, but their boredem brings me excitment as i just love custom muggs. Daredevil To Get Reboot?

With the comic book world accepting reboots for The Hulk and Batman, FOX (boo) are wanted to do a new darker reboot for Daredevil. I can personally see this working and being a hell of a lot better although i did enjoy the last film. Right now FOX are just looking for that special director who’s willing to take the job. I can assure you though that Ben Affleck won’t be Dardevil, although the current rumors of Jason Statham playing Daredevil don’t thrill me one bit. Boo FOX.
